Hong Kong District Cooling Co., Ltd Awarded “Distinguished Family-Friendly Employers 2015/16”
In recognition of its efforts in creating a family-friendly culture and working environment as well as showing care for the employees’ families, Hong Kong District Cooling Co. Ltd. (HKDC), subsidiary of Veolia, was awarded the “Distinguished Family-Friendly Employers 2015/16” and “Family-Friendly Employer - Special Mention 2015/16” in the category of Small and Medium Enterprises. This is the second time HKDC being acknowledged as “Family–Friendly Employer”.
Veolia China Wins the “Solid Waste Treatment Industry Corporate Social Responsibility Award”
The 11th Solid Waste Strategic Forum 2017 was held in Beijing on the 15th and 16th December 2017. The forum, themed “The Reconstruction of Market Environment in the Modern Era”, attracted more than 1000 attendees, including government officials, representatives from major solid waste corporate, financial institutions, industry research institutions and the media.

First Green Earth Workshop Held at HKDC
The first Green Earth workshop organized by Veolia’s Sustainable Development Department was held on 23 November 2018 at the Hong Kong Kai Tak District Cooling System (KTDCS). About 40 employees from HKDC attended the workshop, with the topic “Climate Change and Renewable Energy” shared by Mr. Edwin Lau, Founder & Executive Director of The Green Earth.

The heat storage project presented by Dalkia and the city of Borås in Sweden has been selected, as the winner of the "Best energy solution," among the 10 finalists for the Sustainia Award 2013. The list of finalists was announced yesterday in New York on the occasion of the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit.
